Browse firsthand reviews of Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center, shared in the words of the people who wrote them. The comments below offer a closer look at the care team, treatment setting, communication, and support available here.
“SPRC has been an integral part of my recovery! They are kind, knowledgable, thorough, and so supportive. I have made lifelong friends and changed immensely for the better. I have learned tools that I know will help me throughout my life and know that I will always have the love and support from this establishment. If you are on the fence about taking the leap of faith and doing something to better yourself by coming…do it. It’s saved my life in many ways and I will be forever grateful.”
“I usually don’t write reviews, but they deserve this one. Before I came into SPRC I was completely lost. I’d been looking all over the internet to try and find the best treatment center for my mental state. I was very hesitant on going anywhere but I knew I needed help. I called and talked to Talia and she was wicked nice and helpful. She was so helpful that I thought there was some kind of “catch”. I didn’t know why someone wanted to help me so much, I wasn’t used to that. I almost didn’t come in because I thought it was too good to be true. Well I’m happy I did because this place changed my life for the better. I’ve learned so much from the staff and other clients there as well. This place feels like my 2nd family and that’s weird for me to say because before coming here, all I did was isolate. I honestly believe that SPRC saved my life and I’ve seen them save plenty of others as well. Just make sure you’re willing to accept change because you HAVE to put the effort in to help yourself. They give you the tools to better yourself but you need to want the change.”
“Great recovery program and I highly recommend it for your family or friends.”
“I have worked with Scottsdale Providence and its clients for years. Their dedication to client care and their clinical acumen has been nothing less than exceptional. Providence has a heavy focus on individualizing treatment to clients' needs rather than pushing every client through the same curriculum. It is obvious from working with their therapists that they genuinely care about people lives and outcomes. This is also apparent in their dedication to aftercare planning. I could not recommend Scottsdale Providence more highly.”

“For my first attempt at treatment...it has been exceptional. The staff here are knowledgeable, caring and easy to deal with. I highly recommend SPRC”
“I can’t say enough about Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center and their staff. From my first phone call to inquire the compassion, care, and concern for our situation was amazing. The whole staff, but specifically Alex, Kyle, Stephanie and Dan, (who I have never met), stepped in to assist us over and above what we could have expected in a very difficult time and a very difficult situation. This was not our first experience with a behavioral health facility, but certainly the best experience and hopefully the last. We utilized both their outpatient and housing services and I could not have been more impressed. The staff work diligently with their clients and truly will do anything to ensure their success. If anyone has any questions about a mental health or substance abuse facility that works and has a staff that goes above and beyond not just for the patient, but their family as well, this is the place to go. They have given me a gift back in the work they do that is invaluable. Highly recommend!!!”

“Scottsdale Providence has changed my life, I'm a completely new person thanks to the program. The staff and therapists are truly phenomenal and they truly want what's best for you and will help you with anything you need. The level of care is truly amazing. do not hesitate to come here whether it be for mental health, or substance abuse, you WILL get the help you need! I love this place dearly and will never forget the experiences I've had here. I finally feel like I have a handle on my life and hope for my future. From the deepest part of my soul, Thank you Scottdale Providence.”
“I've spent the last 50 some odd days in housing (PHP) at Providence and it's been a life changing experience. The opportunity to live around other sober girls and focus on recovery has been beneficial in ways I never thought were possible. I can't express my gratitude enough for this facility and all they've taught me. If you're looking for a recovery program, I highly suggest coming here. Ps. They offer IOP as well so if you'd rather not live in housing, you have more than one option.”
“Scottsdale providence changed my life. The staff is amazing and genuinely cares about each person in the program. They don’t look at you as just a check, they care about your recovery. Would recommend it to any person struggling with mental health or substance abuse”
“Scottsdale Providence has provided me with a safe and supportive space to work on my mental health. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The groups and material are focused, informative, and for me, very enlightening. I feel confident in transitioning out knowing that I now have the skills and resources to live a healthy and balanced life. I also leave knowing that I will always have a support system in the staff and fellow alumni from SPRC.”
“From Residential to IOP, the experience was impressive. I spent about 100 days with Scottsdale Providence and was dealing with a lot of legal issues, FMLA and disability needs. Knowledgeable, qualified staff with continuous training helped me every step of the way. I was educated in mental health and my addiction and provided every tool necessary to continue a fulfilling, sober life. The connections Scottsdale Providence provides to ensure every part of the client is served was amazing. From seeing a medical doctor, a psych nurse, yoga studio, resources for continuum of care once treatment has concluded all assisted me in my recovery. I couldn't be more grateful to the organization and staff. They literally saved my life!”
“Truly a blessing having been here, great staff they ultimately have a damn about your recovery regarding mental health and substance abuse. Classes formatted to your personalized treatment plan. Glad to have been apart of such a wonderful community and glad they allow you to come back when your struggling as alumni. Would recommended that if anyone who truly needs help to come here for the best support for processing trauma and addiction.”
“I had a really great experience here. The staff was great. They genuinely cared about the patients. They have so much love and patience. They helped me with knowing that these feelings won’t last forever. And reminded me of grounding techniques that I can use to help calm myself down. The therapists are amazing, especially Jillian and Denise. They really know their stuff and are easy to build a rapport with. They helped me learn skills to help with emotional regulation. Jillian made getting through EMDR possible with time. I felt so safe with Jillian. I wish she could come back to Virginia with me.”
“Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running. And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you. Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level. They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered. Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. If you’re scared or feel like there’s no way out, I’m telling you from my own heart, this place is real. This is where healing actually happens. I’m forever grateful.”
