“This program was nothing but amazing. The staff, therapists, and house managers all were great and took my needs very seriously. I was given the proper information about my disease to get sober and live a great life. GO SCOTTSDALE PROVIDENCE”
“I cannot say enough about this organization and the people who support it. I was in the PHP program and through thick and thin I was cared about and supported through each phase of my growth and development in recovery. I feel stronger and more hopeful today than ever before and looking forward to what the next chapter has to bring because of the work I did while here. Thanks SPRC!”
“I had a great time at sprc the staff is wonderful and super helpful and all my needs were met”
“Providence is truly the best place to recover from mental health issues and/or substance abuse. Every single staff member really cares about helping people. None of them are in it for the money. I can't thank them enough. They saved my life. I stayed 90 days in their supportive housing and it's the best thing I've ever done for myself.”
“SPRC was an amazing experience. The staff treated us with respect while also not cutting corners in treatment. I cannot recommend SPRC highly enough!!!”
“Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running. And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you. Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level. They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered. Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. If you’re scared or feel like there’s no way out, I’m telling you from my own heart, this place is real. This is where healing actually happens. I’m forever grateful.”
“I have been a client at SPRC since the end of May 2025. This place honestly saved my life. I was in the PHP house for my first 2 months, and while there were hard days, I could not be more grateful that I stayed. SPRC taught me not just how to sit with discomfort, but how to thrive in it. Before coming here, I was hopeless. I did 3 weeks at a residential treatment center in Tucson before I was booted due to insurance. Alex and the other staff at SPRC were incredibly gracious with my financial situation; they look at the clients as real people rather than numbers. Each therapist here made me feel cared for and understood in both groups and individual sessions. Working with Denise has expanded my view of past traumas and how those affect my decisions and actions today, and she has facilitated so much healing of my inner parts. Dr. Sarah and her OT team helped me significantly with understanding my underlying neurodivergence. If you are debating coming here or sending your loved one here, I can attest to it being an extremely compassionate, fun-loving, and respectful community. The people I’ve met here have become a family to me, so much so that I decided to return for IOP after taking time out of state. That’s not to say it’s an easy walk in the park; you will work here, and you will face challenges. But you will have people standing by your side throughout them all. I feel the team at SPRC genuinely wants the best for me and cares about my wellbeing and success living a sober, free life. All of my love to this place.”
“Scottsdale providence changed my life. The staff is amazing and genuinely cares about each person in the program. They don’t look at you as just a check, they care about your recovery. Would recommend it to any person struggling with mental health or substance abuse”

“Scottsdale Providemce Recovery Center has changed my entire life and helped me discover what it means to live a full, rich, and meaningful life. I have learned more about myself in 3 months than the past 32 years of my life! Thank you so much and continue to bring that magic into other people's lives. You are saving lives!”
“Scottsdale Providence is the best treatment center in the country. Been to several, including three in Malibu.”
“Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center has changed my life. Their Dual Diagnosis Program reaches all facets of Addiction and Mental Health Support. From one on one therapy with staff ranging in diverse backgrounds and education, to gaining a community of recovery beyond the treatment center - I am so grateful my family googled SPRC and sent me here. Words really can’t convey the changes I’ve seen in my mental spiritual and emotional health. Not only do I feel well, I am gaining stability in managing Complex PTSD, Bipolar 1, and recovering from heavy substance abuse. I now have the tools necessary to stay sober and the belief that my life is worth living.”
“Scottsdale Providence gave me the education, skills, and awareness to be in a great place to recover as well as many tools and resources to take with me once I completed treatment. Two thumbs up!”
“I came into SPRC extremely broken and hopeless. I didn’t even want to believe I was an addict, but through the extremely detailed and informational groups and the 12 steps of C.A., I quickly realized I had more than just my mental health to work on. Dan and Shawn may be super blunt and straightforward and that’s not for everyone, but it’s always from a place of love and compassion. All of the staff and therapists actively work with you to figure out the best course of treatment and are very flexible as the program goes on. This was my third time in rehab and absolutely the most beneficial and lifesaving one. If you are at your lowest of lows and are desperately willing to better your life, Scottsdale Providence is the place to go.”
