We address this complexity with an Integrated Health Model with Abstinence Focus which allows for sobriety to be established within a foundation of evidence-based clinical interventions, psychiatric care and resilience building.
Daniel Nichols, LCSW shares the philosophy behind Scottsdale Providence: providing individualized care that is supportive and challenging enough to help people grow. Treatment combines expert clinical guidance, an emphasis on personal responsibility, and a recovery community where clients build connection and fellowship together.

“The staff and employees at SPRC are kind and willing to help. They make sure to help you succeed in life and when you leave you feel as if you are completely ready.”
“Great Program, best recovery center that I’ve been to. Staff were excellent! Would recommend Scottsdale Providence to anyone who’s struggling with addiction or mental health.”
“SPRC is a wonderful treatment center. I honestly highly recommend this place for anyone struggling with addiction or mental illness. The owners have decades of sobriety and experience to share with patients in their care. They are dedicated, caring, brutally honest and informed. Love you guys dearly.”
“I enjoyed most aspects of SPRC. I really enjoyed finger painting and yoga. Playing silly games with my peers. Staying up late at night building a pillow fort and giggling the night away with my roommate. The recovery stuff was okay I guess, a little boring to be honest. If I have a crippling relapse which burns my life to the ground I will sure to come back :)”
“Highly recommend this treatment center! Staff were amazing and supportive whenever I needed and treatment plan went accordingly. Couldn’t ask for a better recovery center”
“Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center has made a huge impact in my life. The team of therapists work together to create an individual experience for each client. They offer a variety of classes that teach tools to implement in everyday life. I found that the longer I stayed the more I learned. These people are real… they know that life happens and things have became serious for someone to enter the doors. Yet, they have a sense of humor and know how to balance life with laughter and fun. Thanks to the SPRC team, I have built a fun, healthy community. Thank you SPRC!”
“After having doubts of entering a treatment facility, they were immediately squashed due to the outstanding staff members and facility at SPRC. The environment is extremely safe while making treatment enjoyable and fulfilling. I felt that SPRC truly cared about my recovery which led to a very comfortable experience. All of the faculty has the client's best interest at heart and will go the extra mile. The knowledge I've gained I will keep forever and continue to expand on in the future. I highly recommend SPRC to anyone in need of help. I am extremely grateful and thankful. God Bless SPRC.”
“Scottsdale Providence saved my life. I came from Sequoia Residential for further treatment and moved into the women’s housing. I have made so many wonderful connections with sober women and men. The house bed is comfortable for adequate rest, the center therapists and staff are there WHENEVER you need it. The groups are ran incredibly with plenty of room to share without judgement. My care team / trauma therapists worked through and pushed me to my fullest potential. I’m 90 days sober and it’s because of Scottsdale Providences helping me through the whole process. I attended meetings, group sessions, trauma therapy, and primary individual therapy. The psychiatrist got me on all the right meds, and case management got my short term disability taken care of. I am FOREVER grateful for this place. 💕”

“SPRC is an awesome recovery center. The staff actually cares, The amount of services they provide is extensive. They have therapy I’ve never even heard of. There in patient program is extremely comfortable and places responsibility on keeping the house clean and not over doing it. They provide workout equipment for those of us who are active bodies. The techs know their stuff and even the clients are good people. It’s a judgment free area but they have accountability. They give you the appropriate tools for recovery for substance abuse and mental health. I highly recommend this center for anyone who is honestly looking for help.”
“I've had a wonderful experience at sprc, they definitely changed my life and have assisted so much in my road to recovery. This is such an honest and hard working rehab facility, the staff care so deeply about their clients and help build a strong fellowship of healthy individual to keep you connected after treatment. I've made so many beautiful connects here and it holds a very special place in my heart. 100% recommend.”
“Scottsdale Providence has changed my life for the better. I was a bit skeptical before I came in since I have gone to rehab before, but the difference between the first time and now are like night and day. The staff is highly trained and the complete opposite of pompousity. The BHTs and clinical staff are on the same level as everyone and I have found a family here. There are a variety of AA/CA meetings to attend and mental health meetings as well. I came in as dual diagnosis (mental health & substance abuse) and they have gone above and beyond with meeting my needs and showing me that sobriety and self-care is the pinnacle of a healthy, fulfilling life. I am excited to become apart of the alumni program so I am able to continue my journey and keep in touch with the people who have truly touched my life. I am eternally grateful to have given rehab a second chance and found a program that meets my needs and exceeds any expectations. I would highly recommend Scottsdale Providence to anyone needing help with substance abuse and/or mental health. We all come from different backgrounds and phases of life but have always been able to support and grow with each other. Thank you SPRC for giving me hope and faith again.”
“Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running. And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you. Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level. They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered. Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. If you’re scared or feel like there’s no way out, I’m telling you from my own heart, this place is real. This is where healing actually happens. I’m forever grateful.”

“Great recovery center! The staff is kind and truly cares about their clients.”
“I usually don’t write reviews, but they deserve this one. Before I came into SPRC I was completely lost. I’d been looking all over the internet to try and find the best treatment center for my mental state. I was very hesitant on going anywhere but I knew I needed help. I called and talked to Talia and she was wicked nice and helpful. She was so helpful that I thought there was some kind of “catch”. I didn’t know why someone wanted to help me so much, I wasn’t used to that. I almost didn’t come in because I thought it was too good to be true. Well I’m happy I did because this place changed my life for the better. I’ve learned so much from the staff and other clients there as well. This place feels like my 2nd family and that’s weird for me to say because before coming here, all I did was isolate. I honestly believe that SPRC saved my life and I’ve seen them save plenty of others as well. Just make sure you’re willing to accept change because you HAVE to put the effort in to help yourself. They give you the tools to better yourself but you need to want the change.”
