24-Hour Residential Care
Clients stay in a state-licensed residential home with consistent care and supervision from healthcare professionals.

Inpatient care, also known as residential treatment, is a specialized program where clients stay at the facility 24/7 under the constant care and supervision of medical and mental health professionals.
Scottsdale Providence specializes in treating adults and families facing primary psychiatric disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, and complex co-occurring disorders.
Clients stay in a state-licensed residential home with consistent care and supervision from healthcare professionals.
Medical and mental health professionals provide structure, psychiatric support, medication management, and therapeutic care.
Each plan is tailored around the client's symptoms, history, strengths, family needs, and long-term recovery goals.
The residential home is designed to provide a peaceful environment conducive to healing while the clinical team builds a tailored approach for each individual and family.

Inpatient care is one part of a broader continuum. Clients may step through residential treatment, PHP, IOP, aftercare, family programming, and alumni support as clinical needs change.

Residential treatment is built around the understanding that recovery is a personal and transformative process. Clients are not only treated for symptoms; they are supported physically, emotionally, socially, and psychologically.
The team works collaboratively to support addiction recovery, mental health stabilization, family support, medication management, case management, and practical planning for life after residential care.
Clients receive psychotherapy, group process work, and skills-based support throughout the residential week.
Psychiatric care and medication management help address mental health, substance use, and co-occurring symptoms.
Physical well-being, social skills, family support, case management, and recovery planning are built into care.
The residential setting creates shared accountability and support with others working toward stability and recovery.
Residential care can connect clients to detox services, substance abuse treatment, mental health care, and integrated dual diagnosis support based on clinical assessment and ongoing needs.

Detox services provide a safe and supportive start to recovery with withdrawal management and clinical oversight before ongoing treatment.
Detox Services
Inpatient drug and alcohol rehab combines evidence-based therapy, support, detoxification planning, and skill-building for recovery.
Substance Recovery
Residential mental health care provides structure, support, and clinical care when symptoms feel difficult to manage alone.
Mental Health
Integrated inpatient care supports clients facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in one coordinated plan.
Dual DiagnosisStructured groups create rhythm, connection, and skill practice throughout the treatment week. Residential, mental health, co-occurring, alumni, family, and evening outpatient programming are organized below.

Free Family Support Group will be made available on the last Wednesday of each month. This group is open to all family members of current clients as well as past alumni who are still actively involved within the SPRC community.
Therapeutic modalities are central to inpatient care. Each approach is selected to support the client's symptoms, history, goals, and level of support needed for sustained recovery.
Reprocess traumatic memories using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, to reduce their emotional charge and help your brain naturally heal. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is extensively researched and proven effective for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and addiction, often producing significant results in fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy.
Choosing inpatient care means choosing a structured environment, compassionate clinical support, and a dedicated partner in the path toward healing.
Hear from people who found structure, community, and compassionate clinical care through Scottsdale Providence.
“Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running. And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you. Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level. They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered. Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. If you’re scared or feel like there’s no way out, I’m telling you from my own heart, this place is real. This is where healing actually happens. I’m forever grateful.”
“If you are serious about getting help with your mental health and/or sobriety this is THE PLACE!!! SPRC has changed my life and given me everything that I need in my mental health recovery, and I am so grateful that I will be continuing my care with them for years to come. I was skeptical about seeking treatment for myself after seeing family members shuffled around and medicated to collect a copay and to bill insurance. SPRC treats you like an individual and will go above and beyond to get you the help that you need! They do everything with love and sometimes it’s tough love, but true healing and serious treatment needs that! The community that has been built is unlike any other as well! Come to get healthy, and stay for the love and support!!!”
“I highly recommend the program at Providence! The co-owners are involved in the daily treatment groups and all staff is professional yet laid back. The housing accommodations are top notch. Highly recommend”
“This is my second home. This place was here for me in my time of need and accepted me back with open arms. I cant explain the how much I value my friends i expect to have for life here and also the staff who are like apart of my family. If you are looking for people who know how to treat people you should put this at the top of your list for sure. Much love <3.”
“I absolutely loved my experience at Scottsdale Providence and I would highly recommend it to anyone struggling with substance abuse and/or mental health. The staff are extremely kind and understanding. The group of clients can vary but, in my experience, they were energetic, open, willing, and uplifting. I loved how the treatment was not just focused on therapy, but included more wholistic factors such as nutrition, physical health, and community. This was the best experience I could ever have asked for.”
“SPRC is a supportive and caring community that I am very proud to be apart of. They have taught me new ways to reshape my mentality and use new tools I have learned to continue my recovery in terms for a better future. All staff members have such insightful messages and lessons that are beneficial for a positive life and I’m thankful for everyone who has helped me across my journey”
“I Love how all the staff’s help you the best they can with your recovery. The staffs are Amazing here. They also try and teach you as much as they can you just have to be willing to do the work. Scottsdale Providence really does work if you are willing to work it.”
“Awesome staff, personalized care. Actually care about humans. I’ve been to several treatment centers and the care here was by far the best.”

“Having been to numerous treatment centers over the past decade, I’ve never experienced anything like what Providence was able to offer. Their individualized level of care is superior to any other program. They truly care about each and every person that walks through their door. Even when I was at my worst they welcomed me back with open arms, twice, and provided me with the care necessary to recover. Their admissions coordinators, support staff, and clinical team are exceptional. This place truly saved my life. I can’t thank them enough for the miracle they were able to provide me. If you or any loved one are suffering, don’t think twice about contacting SPRC.”
