24-Hour Residential Care
Clients stay in a state-licensed residential home with consistent care and supervision from healthcare professionals.

Inpatient care, also known as residential treatment, is a specialized program where clients stay at the facility 24/7 under the constant care and supervision of medical and mental health professionals.
Scottsdale Providence specializes in treating adults and families facing primary psychiatric disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, and complex co-occurring disorders.
Clients stay in a state-licensed residential home with consistent care and supervision from healthcare professionals.
Medical and mental health professionals provide structure, psychiatric support, medication management, and therapeutic care.
Each plan is tailored around the client's symptoms, history, strengths, family needs, and long-term recovery goals.
The residential home is designed to provide a peaceful environment conducive to healing while the clinical team builds a tailored approach for each individual and family.

Inpatient care is one part of a broader continuum. Clients may step through residential treatment, PHP, IOP, aftercare, family programming, and alumni support as clinical needs change.

Residential treatment is built around the understanding that recovery is a personal and transformative process. Clients are not only treated for symptoms; they are supported physically, emotionally, socially, and psychologically.
The team works collaboratively to support addiction recovery, mental health stabilization, family support, medication management, case management, and practical planning for life after residential care.
Clients receive psychotherapy, group process work, and skills-based support throughout the residential week.
Psychiatric care and medication management help address mental health, substance use, and co-occurring symptoms.
Physical well-being, social skills, family support, case management, and recovery planning are built into care.
The residential setting creates shared accountability and support with others working toward stability and recovery.
Residential care can connect clients to detox services, substance abuse treatment, mental health care, and integrated dual diagnosis support based on clinical assessment and ongoing needs.

Detox services provide a safe and supportive start to recovery with withdrawal management and clinical oversight before ongoing treatment.
Detox Services
Inpatient drug and alcohol rehab combines evidence-based therapy, support, detoxification planning, and skill-building for recovery.
Substance Recovery
Residential mental health care provides structure, support, and clinical care when symptoms feel difficult to manage alone.
Mental Health
Integrated inpatient care supports clients facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in one coordinated plan.
Dual DiagnosisStructured groups create rhythm, connection, and skill practice throughout the treatment week. Residential, mental health, co-occurring, alumni, family, and evening outpatient programming are organized below.

Free Family Support Group will be made available on the last Wednesday of each month. This group is open to all family members of current clients as well as past alumni who are still actively involved within the SPRC community.
Therapeutic modalities are central to inpatient care. Each approach is selected to support the client's symptoms, history, goals, and level of support needed for sustained recovery.
Reprocess traumatic memories using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, to reduce their emotional charge and help your brain naturally heal. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is extensively researched and proven effective for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and addiction, often producing significant results in fewer sessions than traditional talk therapy.
Choosing inpatient care means choosing a structured environment, compassionate clinical support, and a dedicated partner in the path toward healing.
Hear from people who found structure, community, and compassionate clinical care through Scottsdale Providence.

“SPRC is a supportive and caring community that I am very proud to be apart of. They have taught me new ways to reshape my mentality and use new tools I have learned to continue my recovery in terms for a better future. All staff members have such insightful messages and lessons that are beneficial for a positive life and I’m thankful for everyone who has helped me across my journey”
“SPRC changed my life completely! The staff is incredibly caring and they really do want to help people not only get sober but actually recover. I’ve been to treatment centers before and they just wanted my money. This place isn’t like that and it’s worth every penny. As scared as I was to enter treatment again, I’m so glad I did and I would highly recommend this center for anyone struggling with addiction and/or mental health!”
“Had an excellent experience and outcome. Staff was incredibly caring and invested in my recovery. All staff seemed to love helping people and were happy to be there for me. Houses are beautiful and comfortable and the facility is clean, modern and well taken care of. Felt like a family.”
“I entered treatment for primary mental health and stayed in the girls house for 4 weeks before leaving for surgery for an unrelated injury. The staff is very kind and supportive and helped me to address my core issues. I would recommend SPRC for substance abuse and/or mental health issues.”

“Amazing program. Very knowledgeable and insightful staff. Everyone is extremely helpful in the recovery process. Can be a challenge at times but is absolutely worthwhile for real recovery.”
“My experience at Scottsdale Providence was amazing. I wasn’t sure what treatment would be like or what to expect but the staff has been beyond amazing and helpful throughout my journey. They offer many tools to help out through recovery process. I started out at the residential house first and the staff there is awesome, extremely helpful, and very well educated. They have group therapy sessions that I found to be extremely helpful and have helped me out a lot with my social anxiety. I then moved to the PHP house which was also another awesome experience for me. The PHP program was also extremely beneficial and involves a more work like schedule to help with adjusting back into the real world. Both houses were a great opportunity to get to know the staff on a bit of a personal level and build relationships with other clients as well. The fellowship I have gained in treatment is just one of the many things that makes me want to continue on with my sobriety. I have built relationships that I truly believe will last a lifetime. I am beyond thankful to the staff at the houses and at the center as well.”
“This is my second home. This place was here for me in my time of need and accepted me back with open arms. I cant explain the how much I value my friends i expect to have for life here and also the staff who are like apart of my family. If you are looking for people who know how to treat people you should put this at the top of your list for sure. Much love <3.”
“This is a wonderful treatment center!! The staff is amazing, they really care alot. My experience here was great and they helped me so much!”
“Scottsdale Providence had a huge impact on the wellbeing of my mental health. They have BHT’s, clinical staff, doctors, and case managers at every level of care with a deep working knowledge on mental health and substance abuse disorders. Beyond being a health care facility, they care for each of their patients and present them with healthy challenge towards their old ways of thinking and living. Two weeks after my discharge, clinical staff and BHT’s are still looking after my wellness and encouraging me from afar. I highly recommend Scottsdale Providence. The housing is beautiful, the staff deeply cares, and the experience is life-changing.”
“Scottsdale Providence changed my whole life. I walked in completely broken, drinking and using to survive, carrying years of trauma and pain I didn’t even know how to set down. I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I couldn’t keep living the way I was bc it was killing me. From the second I got there, the staff saw me in a way nobody ever has. They understood me. They didn’t judge me. Everything they do has intention. Nothing is random. There is rhyme and reason behind every group, every boundary, every tough conversation, and every moment they push you to sit with yourself instead of running. And honestly, the people you meet here… they’re a huge part of the healing. The patients are amazing bc the staff creates a space where everyone feels safe and connected. You end up being transparent in ways you never have before. You hear everyone’s truth. You share yours. You feel seen and less alone. That kind of honesty changes you. Most of the staff are addicts in recovery too, with years and years of sobriety. That makes such a difference. They don’t talk at you. They talk with you. They get the addict mind. They understand the shame, the fear, the spiraling, the survival mode. They know what it feels like to want to quit and still feel pulled back in. You just feel understood on a soul level. They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided. I felt held. I felt like my life actually mattered. Scottsdale Providence didn’t just help me get sober. They gave me my life back. They gave my kids their mom back. They helped me find myself again. If you’re scared or feel like there’s no way out, I’m telling you from my own heart, this place is real. This is where healing actually happens. I’m forever grateful.”
“This place saved my life. I came in completely lost and full of fear. Dan Shawn Drew were especially helpful in figuring out what I need to focus on moving forward. I would send my family here any time. This place is family.”
