I’d been looking all over the internet to try and find the best treatment center for my mental state. I was very hesitant on going anywhere but I knew I needed help. I called and talked to Talia and she was wicked nice and helpful. She was so helpful that I thought there was some kind of “catch”. I didn’t know why someone wanted to help me so much, I wasn’t used to that. I almost didn’t come in because I thought it was too good to be true. Well I’m happy I did because this place changed my life for the better. I’ve learned so much from the staff and other clients there as well. This place feels like my 2nd family and that’s weird for me to say because before coming here, all I did was isolate. “I can’t say enough about Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center and their staff. From my first phone call to inquire the compassion, care, and concern for our situation was amazing. The whole staff, but specifically Alex, Kyle, Stephanie and Dan, (who I have never met), stepped in to assist us over and above what we could have expected in a very difficult time and a very difficult situation. This was not our first experience with a behavioral health facility, but certainly the best experience and hopefully the last. We utilized both their outpatient and housing services and I could not have been more impressed. The staff work diligently with their clients and truly will do anything to ensure their success. If anyone has any questions about a mental health or substance abuse facility that works and has a staff that goes above and beyond not just for the patient, but their family as well, this is the place to go. The opportunity to live around other sober girls and focus on recovery has been beneficial in ways I never thought were possible. I can't express my gratitude enough for this facility and all they've taught me. If you're looking for a recovery program, I highly suggest coming here. Ps. They offer IOP as well so if you'd rather not live in housing, you have more than one option.”

“From Residential to IOP, the experience was impressive. I spent about 100 days with Scottsdale Providence and was dealing with a lot of legal issues, FMLA and disability needs. Knowledgeable, qualified staff with continuous training helped me every step of the way. I was educated in mental health and my addiction and provided every tool necessary to continue a fulfilling, sober life. The connections Scottsdale Providence provides to ensure every part of the client is served was amazing. From seeing a medical doctor, a psych nurse, yoga studio, resources for continuum of care once treatment has concluded all assisted me in my recovery. They helped me with knowing that these feelings won’t last forever. And reminded me of grounding techniques that I can use to help calm myself down. The therapists are amazing, especially Jillian and Denise. They really know their stuff and are easy to build a rapport with. They helped me learn skills to help with emotional regulation. Jillian made getting through EMDR possible with time. I felt so safe with Jillian. I wish she could come back to Virginia with me.”

They didn’t just help me stop drinking and using. They helped me understand why I did it. They got to the root emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They taught me tools I actually use every single day. They challenged me when I wanted to shut down. They held space for me when I couldn’t catch my breath. Not once did I feel judged. I felt guided.
