During the international crisis caused by COVID-19, treatment facilities are considered an essential service. People in need of treatment for substance abuse or behavioral health issues can leave home to seek care. And thankfully, treatment is the best possible place to be during this time.
At Our Recovery Center
At Scottsdale Providence Recovery Center, we take the safety of our clients, staff, and community very seriously. We are strictly adhering to recommendations from state and federal health agencies, as well as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for facilities such as ours, including:
- Before admission, asking potential patients questions on travel history, flu-like symptoms, and their contact with individuals who are confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19
- Increased cleaning and sanitation services within our facility and housing services, posted educational material for patients and staff regarding personal hygiene and increased availability of sanitation/disinfectant materials
- Implemented health and safety protocols for patients presenting with flu-like symptoms, including emergency quarantine and medical transfer protocols
- Implemented hand hygiene protocols in accordance with guidelines issued by the CDC
- Suspending visitation to our facilities and limiting outside excursions by patients
- Instructing staff to stay home if they are sick, pursuant to CDC recommendations
- Limiting business-related travel to essential trips only
Currently, there are no reports of any infectious illness at our facility.
